Cover Letter
To Whom It May Concern:
I am applying for an Aeronautical Engineer position at your company. I can offer your organization my creativity and knowledge of aerospace design, aerodynamics, propulsion systems, flight performance, thermodynamics, structural analysis, and mathematics, as well as my extensive problem-solving skills.
Having completed all but one semester of Purdue University's Aeronautical Engineering program, I am already well qualified for your opening. Purdue's reputation as an institution of excellence, especially in engineering, and my successful completion of both theoretical and experimental courses, have given me a great deal of skill and knowledge and gives me an advantage over younger students.
Also, my previous work experience and activities have both taught me to clearly communicate my ideas and take responsibility for my informed opinions.
I would very much like to meet with you and discuss what I can offer your organization. I am excited about the possibility of becoming a part of your company. I can be reached at either of the mailing addresses below, by telephone, or by email. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey D. Robinson
