Throwing - When I was in 7th grade, I tried out for the track team, but didn't make it. The next year I tried out again, for every event that I could, but only made it in the hurdles and in the long jump. I really wanted to throw the shot put and the discus, but I wasn't good enough. But about halfway through the season, someone got hurt and I asked if I could take their spot. The coaches let me, and I did it for the rest of the season. I was never really that good, but it was fun. Then when I came to high school, all I wanted to do was throw, and I was okay. I stuck with it and got a little better each year. By the time I was a senior, I was a kind of good I guess. Below are some pictures and other information about me as a thrower for Revere High School--and this is someone who didn't even make the team in middle school.
